Meet our Team

We currently have over 70 volunteer team members across Canada. The ones listed below are ones who have committed to over 50 hours per year and feel comfortable with their information being posted. If you would like to join our of team of Millennial & Gen Z. advocates, and have a passion for improving race relations, contact us with an introduction about yourself, educational skills and how many hours you can commit. Iman Bukhari
Founder & CEO
Iman is a change-maker and a mentor to many. She holds a Masters of Arts in Multimedia Communications, has over 13+ years of experience working in DEIB and communications. She is passionate about human rights and education.

Project manager
Hunzah has a degree in Policy Studies and has over 3 years experience working in the not-for-profit sector. Her interests include political science, human rights, and community activism.

Shokoh has a Networking Technician certificate from SAIT and a lot of experience in coordinating events, especially online ones. She is passionate about human rights, cooking and video games.

Garret is a proud member of the Piikani and Kainai Tribes of the Blackfoot Nation. A graduate of the Centre For Indigenous Theatre and Founder of the Mohkinstsis Healing Camp.

Oscar has a diploma in Professional Cooking from SAIT. He has spent his time ever since graduating working in restaurants. He worked at Tastemarket by SAIT and is currently working in Soleil Bistro & Bar in East Village. He loves playing video games and reading. He hopes to one day open a restaurant.

Megan is an impassioned advocate for transformative justice, anti-racism and affordable housing. She holds a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism and, since 2012, has worked in communications and marketing roles at poverty reduction and justice-related non-profit organizations.

Jazz grew up as an adopted kid and the only black person in his family and while identity was always a struggle, storytelling was a safe method of exploring it. He enjoys creating comics with diverse fantasy settings that explore identity, complex familial relations, and responsibility.

Through her artworks, she aims to communicate the intricacies of connection, of people and the world we inhabit, and represents the empowerment and celebration of personhood.

Zara has a Bachelor of Nursing Degree. She currently works as a Case Manager for home care providing services for seniors in their home. Outside of work, she is learning Swahili and is passionate about travel, dance, and Marvel movies.
